Photo_Blog_Assignment

I think that this photo expresses what the people of Africa are like, personality wise.  The photographer uniquely displayed different personalites using eyes and the bottom half of a face.   I thought this was very creative because a person can get a sense of what people are like and how they feel through facial expressions.

Discussing the recent relaunch of HBO.com
Describing the new quality of videos that HBO provides.

3. What did you find most interesting about the article?
HBO has relaunched a there website. (I didn’t even know they had a Website.) They have moved on from being TV viewing support, to being a site that really draws consumers into the stories.  In addition to high-quality TV, HBO now provides a pc viewing experience. There site also provides an option that allows the viewer to select specific content on a show.

I would use the high-quality videos for a future project.

Comparison

1.   First, write a few sentences about what makes Best Buy different from The Apple Store (the physical stores), particularly about how they are arranged and what the process of buying a product looks like.

I have never been to the Apple Store, but I can infer that it is a lot smaller than Best Buy.  Best Buy has a wide variety of products they sale, ranging from TVs to computer etc.  Apple on the other hand only sales Apple products so it would be computers and iPods.  The two stores require different amounts of space because of the products they sale.

2.   Then go to both bestbuy.com and apple.com and write at least 5 differences that you see in the way that the online stores are organized and designed.
·         Best Buy has options for products, service, shops/deals and gifts
·         Apple’s options are store, Mac, iPod, iPhone, iPad, iTunes and support
·         Apple’s Website is kind of plain(mostly white)
·         Best Buy shows phones, computers and cameras on the main page
·         Apple only has iPones on their main page
